Bilton - doesn't look you have any sense of humor if my profile pic gets to you.
As for companies - check MGIC - I was the CEO of the company in the early 2000 and got the stock from $4.75 to over $100/share in under 2 years. Enuf said. What do you have on your resume other than unprofessional insults?
For you to compare the palm technology or story to BB shows clearly a lack of basic understanding of technology or the smartphone marketplace.

Bilton - you're obviously not very technical. This is FAR from being the case here. The Palm comparison is just out or place technology-wise AND share-price wise.

@Luke,
Since Android is open-source I don't see how they can be sued for this emulator and I'm pretty sure their legal team has blessed this effort in advance, so a google action seems highly unlikely.
As for Oracle - Don't know what their basis for a suit would be? also, seems to me BB is too small (at present) to be any threat to Oracle so can't see a law suit is economically viable until/if BB somehow starts competing with Oracle..

Here are some surveys some of you have been asking for. The last one points to a recent research done by CIBC that points out that 50% (!!) of pre-registrations for the new BB10 are from iPhone & Android users. (eat that shorties!)

MrAllister - what's the point of comparing the OLD BB to the iPhone?? we all know the old BB wasn't modernized, but let's see what Obama thinks of the new BB10!!
My prediction is he'll be getting one before the end of his term!

EXACTLY!!!
All signs are that several million new BB10's will be sold around the world in the next quarter - and that's plenty for BB to secure #3 in the smartphone market and increase their share steadily from hereon = share price going up!

Saying the new phone is "junk" makes anything you write completely un-credible.

You are so full of 'information' - why don't you digest this and let's see how you turn it into bad news for BB:

That's just the last nail in the coffin, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt you're clueless about mobile technology.
BB may be a lot of things, but "absolute rubbish" isn't one of them.
