Tang Capital Partners' Proxy Statement for Vanda Pharmaceuticals Calls for Liquidation

Of coarse Tang wants to liquidate, he owns over 6 million shares and his company owns another 6 million. He's looking for a quick buck. The FDA should not allow this to happen because they are the ones that caused the down fall of the company. VANDA has a new drug that works better and is cheaper with fewer side effects then the drugs that do the same thing sold by the big companys. The FDA can't have them loosing money so they all but bankrupted Vanda. Yes I own a few shares. The FDA stopped this small company from selling thier new drug on the day it was supposed to hit the market. The share price went from around $6.50 to .75 in 2 hours. The FDA is supposed to "maybe" ok the drug on 5/6/09. Tang wants to make his money just incase the drug isn't approved.
