So what your saying is that GW is a naturally recurring condition. Thanks for proving that the GW alarmists are wrong.

Bankrupting a country and it's people during a time of recession on the theory that one country can change the entire ecosystem of the Earth is "stupid".

Ice sheets and thickness have expanded over the last 20 years. Stop drawing conclusions from one picture on TV of a polar bear swimming. It's what they do. Go to the zoo and watch the polar bears they love to swim.

You say....."do you really think all that CO2 being pumped into the atmosphere > is doing no harm and never will?"...........thats exactly right. The Earth is a big place, it's a perfectly balanced ecosystem. As we create more CO2 the Earth compensates for it over a long time. If we reduce CO2 by 80% like the politicians want in the next 40 years ( which is impossible) the Earth could not adjust that fast and the reduced CO2 would start to kill off all the plant life leading to less oxygen and food for us and other animal life forms. It would snowball and be impossible to stop.

What the Senate Health Bill Will Really Cost [View article]
And don't forget the government will be racking in Billions in taxes for 4 years before they have to spend a dime. How many changes in the bill will take place during those 4 years? When private insurance companies start to close the government can raise their premiums to what ever they want. But the look on all the peoples faces that think Obama is giving them FREE healthcare when the insurance police come to collect the penalties for not paying, is going to be priceless.
Duke Energy Plans Offshore Wind Pilot Project [View article]
"Carbon Offset Program" Last week I received an e-mail from Duke wanting an extra $4 to $8 a month for this Carbon offset program, to reduce my carbon footprint. I wrote back asking how me giving them and extra $8 a month would make me use less electricity but I haven't heard back yet. I also ask them to stop trying to scam their customers, and trying to collect money to pay for Obama's Cap and Trade tax (carbon credits). Our electric bills are going to triple here soon enough without starting early. After reading this article the money is probably to help pay for the windmills.
Pundits Are Wrong: Healthcare Reform Will Increase Profits [View article]
For profit or not for profit doesn't make any difference. Even the largest private insurers United Group and Wellpoint only show about 4% profit over the last 12 months. The government will keep lowering it's premiums until no insurance company can compete. If you owned a busness and paid out say 5 million in insurance for your employees and the government offered you the same package for 1 million wouldn't you take it? Of coarse you would. Thats whats going to happen. Obama has already stated he wants a single payer plan.

The only problem is "Public Option" will run those private insurance companies out of busness in a few years. Being forced to cover everyone and pre-existing conditions would be enough to close them all down but to also have to compete with the government that is more than willing to take a lose for many many years (see post office) will make it impossible for them to stay in busness. If your long on all those drug companies my advise is to run don't walk to your broker and sell like there's no tomorrow because there may not be.
I love it when these people say "people will die because they can't afford insurance" and in the next breath say the government will save money by dening coverage on things they think is to costly. By the way the bill says that a board of 27 will decide if you get the coverage you need. Out of the 27 members only one has to be a doctor. Listen to the sound logic behind Obamacare, this plan will cover everything, for the people that can't afford private insurance, (small print now) that we deem cost efficent. Cost efficent means if you are able to pay taxes for a long time. For the things we don't cover you can buy private insurance to fill the gaps. WHAT???? if you can afford private insurance to "fill the gaps" why do you need the government plan at all? Obamacare forces private insurance to cover all pre-existing conditions, which will force them out of business in a few years, but the "plan" has enough wiggle room so that the government plan does not have to pay for all pre-existing conditions. I could probably retire today if I didn't have to buy insurance. As must as I want to retire this plan will put tens of thausands of people out of work and cause the healthcare to drop ten fold in this country. I would rather keep on working than have some politician deciding if I'm worth sending to the doctor.

Does anyone else in here live in Indiana? Estimates show that my electric bill will go from $100 a month to $500 or more if this cap and tax scam goes through. Indiana gets about 96% of our electricity from coal fired plants, the highest in the nation.

Obama doesn't want us to buy from them he's pushing a turbine company in Spain.
