Google's Potential African WiMAX Play

What is Google bring to this project other than a poor method of monetization, which hasn't worked in SF and will definitely not work in Africa?

Why is Google in the mix to be with? This deal should be direct with Intel because they make the WiMax enabling devices.

Usual Google idea, they are out to control the world.
