next up, sorry ELTP along w/ the penny pumpers...

"Preliminary production batches of Isradipine at Elite, using the equipment provided in the agreement, was not cost effective. Mikah and Elite therefore mutually agreed in an amendment to the agreement to discontinue transfer of the Isradipine."

this was the most important known commodity in elite's pipeline. it was the primary reason that the mikah shell company was created, e.g. an attempt by actavis to get around antitrust laws

  • Italian OTC Fish Oil Study Has No Bearing On Vascepa Outcomes [View instapost]
If you asked me last year, I'd say, 'Denial! Thank god this NCE BS is no longer an overhang and is finally behind us.', yet here we are. Still an overhand yet NCE STILL means NOTHING to the fundamentals, but a great deal to the 'traders' who use it as a pseudo catalyst and those with an agenda. The authoritarian of bioscience who frequented here as well as stocktwits but threw in the towel on the stupidity that effervesces every nook and cranny of this place from the likes of Adam, The Raven, and all the other half wits: SlowNSteady (pseudonym out of respect for privacy), said repeatedly last year that NCE was not in the cards but that it mattered not one iota w/ the patent protection and was long. This is still true, whether or not Amarin's receives the coveted (though largely meaningless at this point) New Chemical Entity designation.

I primarily view Amarin now as merely a victim of rotation. Just like Apple, where the fundamentals are top pedigree; yet Tutes and HFTS have turned a short eye to pump the garbage in this 2013 to the moon gold rush; When they are done pumping the turds like Yahoo, Green Mountain, Netflix, Blackberry, and the plethora of others with ridiculous valuations that never did nor will live up to any fundamental expectation (if there is or ever was any). As it stands, plenty of $$ to wipe out in the extremely bullish put/call ratio through Jan. Henceforth, I gave up on OTM call and focus on ITM.

Sigh... Will this BS ever end...

Why sure? Can't short, no options so can't buy to open puts. You're the one w/ the agenda if anybody, with your pumping of a penny stock here.

It's clear where I derived the info (as I mentioned as much) but I do get a kick out of you penny pumpers and your 1/2 truths; to hear you tell the tale it's mostly WS manipulation that has caused this penny to be crushed in the last 12 months. Sure. ;)

Here's another glass half empty from the boards for you to froth; maybe you'll attack 20% of it if that and even then it'll be making wine out of water.

-- worst current ratio ever got even redder last qtr
-- revenues essentially flat for last 4 quarters, up only $18k
-- lodrane D doing next to nothing, as is bontril generic
-- negative cash flow, huge negative tangible net worth
-- selling accumulated tax losses with no hope to be using
-- already technically bankrupt with liabilities exceeding assets
-- in DEFAULT on the tax free bond used to finance their main facility
-- has GIVEN UP on time release oxy patent, once considered a cornerstone
-- CANNOT find a partner for snort proof FDA trials, or even for Euro time release
-- CANNOT get money from anywhere except expensive bridge loans from own ceo
-- seeing all of its products pitifully under-performing, with nothing any different in pipeline
-- admitting to the SEC they need more financing after already ballooning to 350 million shares from less than 20 million outstanding six years ago
-- changing accounting to appear to be approaching cash flow positive
-- specter of bk hangs on them like green on broccoli (default and current assets/liabilities ratio)
-- tax credits are not even a drop in the bucket for a 350 million share company already in default
-- tangible net worth has been in long tern downward trend and deep in the red
-- NO progress reported on BE and PK studies and NONE on phase III trials
-- pipeline has produced nothing of importance, and has nothing of importance. all andas acquired on the cheap, the acquisition costs of some being already fully written off
-- snort proof patent caused stock to drop and never recover

and then there is a whole lot of andas and aspirations and goals and visions carried over from last year which were carried over from the year before and the year before that, except there are fewer and fewer resources available to accomplish much of anything which is why elite is basically living off high interest, short term loans from its ceo

i will say some of your corrects are splitting hairs, and you didn't [directly] address point of diet pill not being very successful, as well as any of the point on Lodrane D and Methadone. Essentially, the rest is very minimal revenue window decor; the company lives and dies by Eli 216.

Enough for me to dabble w/ 10k shares, but not any more.

all good points and sound like you did your homework; those particular points I reposted don't seem bot driven as they were more thoroughly thought out.

only concern I have is if the picture is so rosy, why down 50% from this time last year?

interesting the potential for ELTP, but what say you [bulls] to this argument, just scraped from YMB:

lodrane D was the weakest of all products last qtr, and elite says it has an uncertain future
the bontril clone is trying to push into a tiny, crowded $3.5 million market
their naltrexone will try to break into an established $12 million generic market
they quit on their most promising drug, isradipine, as being unprofitable before it even made it to market
the small market for their fat pill already has about 20 established generics competing for margins, and now their costs have gone up in exchange for getting supplier to keep giving them the main ingredient

all in all, there's just not much to talk about. which is why they keep that oxy story going. any time someone wants to point out the reality of elite's pipeline then they talk about how their goal is to bring drugs to market like their oxy formulas which have high barriers -- but, folks, those things are way, way, way too far away to be counted as being in the pipeline. they are pipe dream drugs, not pipeline drugs. they are just vision, long term goals, aspirations to share with one's psychiatrist

the reality is, elite's pipeline is mostly gas and nobody can name one drug with much potential at all.

question -- does anyone care to project when elite might sell enough to be able to report $5 million in earnings? the question is relevant because elite is close to 500 million fully diluted shares (but has announced it needs to issue more) and it would take $5 million in earnings just to report a penny a share profit

  • Why I'm Adding To My Amarin Short Position [View article]
or longs can sell puts for an even cheaper price than today; while the safer bet (as you keep the premium), I prefer the long dated deep ITM calls; minimal premium at 3 and requires less capital to bank when this thing pops. GL, I'm not hedging down here; do what you will NYSE and pit boys!
