    What about spread prevention...Cepheid (CPHD) equipment allows 1-hr on-site nose-swab testing for MRSA (no lab required) of all hospital admissions. The equipment is in usse now at VA hospitals and allows for isolation of MRSA carriers as well as active MRSA cases. At least we might not catch MRSA in hospitals then.

    What about spread prevention...Cepheid (CPHD)? Allows 1-hr on-site nose-swab testing (no lab required) of all hospital admissions for MRSA. Their equipment is now VA hospitals and apparently having a strong preventative effect. Allows for isolation and treatment of carriers as well as those actually suffering from MRSA.
