Too bad Richard didn't take this chart back 5,000 years, cause thats how long Gold has traded as a REAL store of wealth. S&P is a joke over the years and gold will be here forever.
I think the bulk of the sideline money will be put to use elsewhere, considering they must surely understand the future of the USD crushing whatever equity position they take in the US stock market.
This has to be "The" biggest Fed circle jerk of all times. Manipulation extravaganza that will end up being a gigantic inflation bubble of epic proportions followed by stagflation, resulting in a severe depression.
