    I wondered what happened to the tech that VRB Power had. They also had a number of irons in the fire, at various times, but none got warm enough to keep them afloat (on a sea of molten salts) ...

    A Canadian company, VRB Power has several irons in this potential fire, such as molten salts and "vanadium flow-battery technology". Gave up on their stock years ago, so haven't been watching them very closely.
