I have been a waffler for several years. Not really wanting to believe 100% that my judgment that the US economy could truly be has bad as it appeared to be because of thieving CEOs, traders, and politicians in high and low places. I just hoped that maybe I was overly concerned because of the number of unemployed and under-employed professionals around the USA. As of this past weekend, I am no longer a waffler. THINGS are as bad as I have dreaded. What convinced me of this? Sec. of Treasury Hank Paulson's clear, bold language in his dream bailout bill in which he wants the United States Congress to stomp on the treasured document that is the foundation of our nation, the US Constitution. WHO would have ever imagined such a bold and power grabbing move by the US Treasury to demand and frighten the public into believing that the economy which has been corrupted by the greedy should be allowed to destroy our Constitution? NOTHING has me more frightened now than the US Treasury wanting unlimited powers with ZERO reviews. This bailout proposed by the US Treasury is FAR, FAR too costly to America -- and not in dollar terms. NO economy is worth saving if it destroys the foundation of the United States of America. Save the US Constitution. FIRE Hank Paulson -- who is clearly inept!

"We must be on guard because our rights are being taken from us" -- on guard is nice but what has been taken place in Washington DC in the Halls of Congress and the White House; along with what has been happening between Washington DC and the United Nation -- DEMANDS a public outcry! We must demand a return to the US Constitution and the rights protected and guaranteed by this sacred foundational document of our beloved nation. Maybe, it is time to demand that the US capital be moved from Washington DC to Colonial Williamsburg or some other historic location as a symbolic return to our nation's foundation. Chose wisely this fall how you vote for as the next president of the United States of America. At least one of the candidates believes he is a 'world citizen'.
