On Cramer's picks: Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes! On CNBC: I stopped watching the hype a long time ago, same way with the weather channel it's all about the hype! The skiy is falling.
Bonus implies something extra. Above and beyond the norm. Wall street and investment bankers have done nothing to merit something extra in their paychecks for performance above and beyond the norm. In fact , excess and greed are prominent qualities in many of the descriptions of not only their companies but their way of thinking as employees of such.

Something is very wrong with your math calculations. I have had 100 shares since 1999 and I have reinvested the dividends and my total value is only $9508. So where is my money?

It was said the US welcomes investments from China's sovereign wealth fund. Sounds like we are at their door begging for scraps. China on the other hand says we need to take care of our own problems such as over consumption. Stop buying all the crap from China at Walmart and we will see if they like that!

Ok you say punish the fat cats. Paulson says ,"Don't add punitive consequences or they won't participate ." What are we to believe? The visual image I have of the oil execs sitting in a row at the Congressional hearings on insane profits and justifying their compensation just makes me sick. I guess it is contagious when you rise that high in corporate America.I am for making someone suffer other than the poor stiff who is loosing his home and job.
I believe that GREED has permeated our financial institutions, corporate America and most certainly the government. Through fear and loathing we are fed a continuous diet of lies and half truths. Under these pretenses we have let Congress forget about the Constitution and give the president a war that he wanted. In addition Congress appropriates borrowed money to fund it. We have given up individual freedoms,so that the government can be more efficient in catching and monitoring terrorist organizations. NOW they want to give one man,Secretary Paulson ,more power than has ever been and was ever meant to be by the Constitution! They want to give him the free reigns that he needs and 700 Billion to do it with. What is wrong with this picture. Come on America ...wake up. Call your members of Congress and let them know that America was really founded by people that knew we needed checks and balances. When did we forget about all of that? Ask George Bush he has perpetrated the fear mentality and it's consequences.
