• Goldman Sachs Busy Editing Conviction Buy and Sell Lists [View article]
My heart leapt a bit when I read "Goldman Sachs" and "Conviction" , it was not to be, context being what it is.

• The Next Step for Google: Enterprise Revenue in the Cloud [View article]
Ah yes, Cloud Computing.

Sun Microsystems had the same mantra 10-12 years ago, can you say "The Network is the Computer"? It's the old pie in the sky bamboozle that gets recycled every so often.

• The Mark-to-Market Bank Trade This Week [View article]
It would certainly be expedient to bend the rules. The market would pop as would Obamas poll numbers. I'd say its a good bet.

Citron has a near 100% kill rate.

The student loan scam is not a solid business model. Like all scams, they eventually implode.

• Toll Brothers: Are They Serious? [View article]
And what is on that "Beautiful balance sheet"..land that can't be sold but hasn't been written down. Toll Brothers is essentially in the land speculation business at this point so if you want to pony up for that bet, I have some S. FL swamp land for sale.

Remember the last time the Cramer/Toll pump and dump show was on and Bob Toll said he was buying shares at 35.00 while he was selling them at 35.00, of course many are willing to let Cramer crap on their portfolio one more time. Those guys should be in jail.

• The Last Days of Morgan Stanley [View article]
MS is a failed business model trying to re-engineer into a commercial bank, thats incredibly shady on the face of it.

What if KFC decided to go into roast beef sandwiches after failing at the chicken game, would you invest? The bigger question is will Paulson invest, he won't.

bye bye Morgan Stanley, all thats left is a cameo for Mack in front of Congress.

The End.

• Morgan Stanley Appears a Little Too Desperate for Cash [View article]
Paulson throws MS under the bus. The only reason Japanese wanted in was a piece of the bailout.

The Japanese are also sensitive to CEO Macks "issues" with the SEC.

bye bye Morgan Stanley.

The eulogy was appropriate.

They have no more knobs to turn. The only thing left to do is unthinkable; uncover the fraud in the banking/political system and let it blow up.

You can't hide all that magic paper forever.

• When Hedgies Attack: Morgan Stanley Drops 40% on Rumors [View article]
If shorts can take you out, you need to be taken out.

You also left out the foundational info on CEO Mack.

The SEC gave "preferential treatment" to Wall Street executive John Mack during an insider trading investigation three years ago because Mack was about to become CEO of the Morgan Stanley investment banking firm, the SEC's inspector general concluded in a report obtained by ABC News.

The Japanese may not want in on this scandal in the making.

• How Low Can Google Go? [View article]
Google is nearing its end of "internet life cycle".

Advertisers are fed up, they have no grip on users other than goodwill and I'm sure the pampered employees are calling their helicopter parents whining about their worthless stock options. it could go the way of Altavista.

Its not the 30-40 something investors. Its the 30-40 something mutual fund managers that take advice from Cramer. Due diligence for them is watching "Mad Money".

I kid you not.

• Next Victim, Please! [View article]
>This cannot continue. The system is eating its young.

This needs to continue. Your analogy is false.

Bad business models fail and better models emerge in a free market economy. Some (not all) banks took on a casino model, now they pay.

Thats a very good thing.
