Silver and Gold ETFs: How Do You Measure Their Worth?

I would be interested to see past correlations between gold/silver prices and inflationary pressures.

Currently, the US printing presses are probably wearing out from the large amount of production. I agree, it appears that the US is headed that way.

But, in the past, for example in the Weimar Republic, what happened? Germany was a major player in the international markets (to the extent they existed at the time). Did their hyperinflation affect world-wide gold pricing?
