  • No Recovery Until Confidence and Trust Return [View article]
I am very sad because I am 50 and I do not believe that any of this will get better in my lifetime. It is a fact that wall street has devolved into a game controlled by a few players with the pols in their pocket and the prez wouldn't know a supply demand curve from a hockey stick.
Do you think that you can reverse the crazy tax code, the cap trade to come, the budget debt blowup, the govt in your dr. office, etc.? They have spent all of our money and 12 trillion more, and seek to tax the world further to line the pockets of Gore, Goldman etc.

  • Dark Pools Are Not Scary Damp Places Where Investors Get Ripped Off [View article]
I believe that what you meant to say is that the liquidity HFT provides is really worth much more in better executions than the extra few cents per trade that we pay..
    I believe that is true.

  • The Dow: Ominous Parallels to the 1929-1930 Era [View article]
Look at the nasdaq chart from 1995 to 2005.
Now that is an eerie parallel to 1929 of a true collapse.

  • What Will the Fed Report Today? [View article]
Govt created the inflation already by pumping billions into healthcare, housing and tuition loans for years.
And they call the US capitalist-what a joke!

  • Tracking Two Depressions [View article]
It is obvious. The yuan stayed too high for too long. When the dollar tanks, we may be competitive again as manufacturers and exporters.
The physical assets here are overpriced by about the size of our debts.

  • U.S. Debt Burden: Negotiate, Inflate or Repudiate? [View article]
All you have to know is that we have been BORROWING money to pay the INTEREST on our debt. The interest payment WILL be close to 1 trillion as our debt climbs to 20 trillion according to their budget.
Who will lend us 1 trillion per year then? Pack your bags...

  • The Rally, When It Comes, Will Be a Doozy [View article]
They will adopt FASB 157b-- By next week they will be discussing this publically and then watch the shorts cover.
I figure a 25-50% upside for the banks in a day.
