I agree, could care less about the narcisissts addicted to Facebook and Twitter, but notice that Seeking Alpha has the "Publish to Facebook or Twitter" check box for "Add Your Comment".
It's a bandwagon, and people are currently jumping on it, so they are making it relevant for the time being. Remember MySpace? AOL screen names? Betamax?
