I mean, these ex-communists bought into the "dream" of capitalism, better life blah blah blah... and now their livelihood is being drained out of them via currency devaluation via the attempt to service these loans.

And the people who caused this "financial crisis", the corrupt financial elites? Well, as financial aristocrats they get bailed out to the tune of $trillions by their home countries taxpayers... Clearly, capitalism will leave a very bad impression on the ex-communists. It would be ironic, but perhaps necessary, if they retreated from "wild west" capitalism or retreated altogether, in my opinion.
