Expect ebay marketplace to continue to shrivel as the bigger busineses ebay is now courting continue to use ebay's platform to drive ebay shoppers to their websites after the intial ebay sale has been made. In my opinion, the significant drop in GMV and user traffic at ebay marketplace has more to do with the bigger businesses on ebay enticing ebay shoppers to their websites more-so than the ecomonic slow down.

Traffic flow to ebay has been steadily declining each month this year....and I can assure you many of the manufacturers, online retailers, wholesaelrs and large volume ebay sellers that have websites are steadily drawing more and more ebay shoppers off the site and to their websites.
