    The fed is interested in using the 700 bil bail out fund to buy an ownership stake on these financial institutions. Maybe GWB is really a brilliant man who thought this whole scheme out in the beginning.

    If buffet could have had 700 billion he would have done the bail out himself for profit. The government is going to make a killing off of the 700 bil bail out and the 85 billion dollar aig investment.

    through out this entire time, companies are being acquired with pennies on the dollar. Some people, including the governemnt are going to make a killing by buying these assets for so cheap. It seems like this was all put together in 2002 by the administration to help the good old boys get richer.
