be cautious of oil fair value has been 25-30 barrel for over 10 years,, and fair value is still 30-40, 140 was pure speculation,,, opec cuts are false hopes when theres simply no demand and they only control 40% the cuts wont be enough and it will still continue to fall
congress should shut the market down after political events and votes as tommorow wont be pretty..the market barely even moves anymore....with everything already battered down over 60% i doubt i have the stomach to watch this turmoil anymore
crazy legs - exactly --- its always like that if u look at anything like iphone/vista/ etc first releases are like that although vista is an exemption you could not pay me to upgrade to it, however at least rim got it out the door otherwise you'd have a pack of analysts down grading left to right and shorting.
paidContent.org by apple, give me a break this "David Pogue" douche bag is definately paid off.... i got the phone in my hands right now,, so far i am pleased, bugs get fixed....the first iphone wasnt perfect either, and the latest still crashes on me.
iphone??crappy battery that needs re-charging everyday and u cant even replace it? the thing crahes all the time....phone that dosnt support multiple apps running at the same time or basic push mail....im glad i went for the storm... being a first release the bugs will be worked out... im happy so far.. ditched the crappy iphone gave it to the kids

first off bjmc baught some options and ur trying to play analyst,, that piece on that url looks like it was written by some junkey,,,loser... and timboM ill surely miss your sober comments after the battery dies in ur iphone.. other than that its always amusing to see apple lovers write endless articles about iphone vs black , when in reality we're getting slammed with constant economic downturn headlines
Apple vs. RIM: Study Shows iPhone More Reliable than Blackberry [View article]
i agree with chris, appl and rimm are both great companies. it's just that in this harsh environment the this vs that, and fundamentals dont apply anymore. i doubt we will see the end of this recession for a long time and sadly it will affect alot of good companies, people loosing their homes, job losses, credit problems are the main issues not cell phones which people wont be able to afford. things arent looking good at all
Apple vs. RIM: Study Shows iPhone More Reliable than Blackberry [View article]
this topic is getting a bit boring, i've owned a bb for ages never had any problems its always been reliable,, and at least if anything was to happen my battery is changable they only last so long. i even use this thing as modem for constant downloads and never had problem...and since i actually have a keyboard i dont have to worry about a touch screen issues. this article is totally biased
RIM Faces a Critical Month As Apple Gets Tough [View article]
timbom, it's clear you love your iphone as do i, but your essay if a little bit off base. you've made a few points but for the most parts you've missed alot of facts . your acting like aapl invented something brand new when truth is , my pocket pc with 5 years ago did what iphone does now.
rim dosnt just put produce hardware like MOT or NOK, they generate profits off support, subscriptions, and new phones they put out. they have their own data center, and busineses go for blackberries because its a solid secure product, now their aiming for the consumer market which will generate more revenue worldwide not just in the US. the iphone as nice as it is, is a pain for folks that dont like touch screen, the mail is a pain sometimes, security is questionable, no gps, battery issue, my point is its nice but not perfect.
either i had a chance to review the storm, and the move in the UK was very good one. it looks very promising i was impressed, I would definately get one if that kinda offer was made here. In addition to that theres the bold, and the flip phone as well doing good so far. rim will have a good month im sure of it as well as aapl, im seeing great potential in both
Apple Beats on Profits, Misses on Sales, Cautions on Future [View article]
this ray analyst should go back to driving cabs. he is concerned with nothing but his options and writes the dumbest articles with little or no conclusive evidence i've ever seen, and instead of trying to be original he recycles his garbage
RIM Faces a Critical Month As Apple Gets Tough [View article]
sticking up for rim is going againast the crowed as alot of folks made bets against it, but looking at facts. rim is targetting both business and cosnumers. they generate profits on phones ,support and subscriptions, they have their own secure data center and save businesses from IT dept support costs, like iphone the device is sold worldwide so its sales is not limited to the US. in addition for those who dont like the touch screen rim offers keyboard and storm which i heard good things about offers touch screen. battery is removable, it's secure, you can travel and use it just about anywhere, apps, developer friendly support exchange etc... and franky companies that do well dont sell themselves so a sellout is nothing but speculation. in short i see potential in both appl and rimm
RIM Faces a Critical Month As Apple Gets Tough [View article]
in the long run, both companies will do well.... appl even though not perfect makes wonderful products but for business rim is still the soultion, and the g1 is a little too late and a bit behind the loop, appl is way ahead of them
users who like the keyboard have the option of getting a bold or storm if their used to the touch screen, rim is way more secure, battery is removable, phones useable worldwide, they offer wonderful support and a wealth of business apps. even with all the poor economic news, with holidays approacing and new phones on the way we'll see a good run
Weekly Street Sentiment: Sell-Side Says Get Out, Get Short, Get Safe [View article]
and this is exactly the sentiment that bashes our markets and keeps anyone sane from investing. at this point its best to hold ride it out or loose 60%.
instead sell, and bash a market already battered even more to nothing with shorting
Possible Outcomes of My Apple Purchase [View article]
good job, in a time like this where no one even wants to invest anymore, and everything dipped into 60% lows, stocks down to the bone, constant bad economic news...an article to batter stocks even more down to the point where its worth nothing.
Initial Thoughts on Android and the G1 Smartphone [View article]
not impressed, and as for competing with rim, i would much rather go for a storm than this device, especially if it concerns business. rim is more secure they have their own data center, battery is removable, packed with features.usable worldwide. with the options we already have on the market google is a little late.
