  • VirnetX's Royalty Triumph Is Excellent News [View article]
I am looking at the share price and I must have missed something..... Did VHC lose the trial Vs Appl ? Has a patent of Virnetx been found to be invalid? Has Judge Davis over turned his ruling? The appeals process was factored in _ APPL would appeal this and despite the naysayers _ VHC would prevail. Part of the attraction of the stock to me was and is - its a valid very important security patent company > DAVID and GOLIATH-- they prevailed against MSFT - once (will again) they should have prevailed Vs CSCO ( but look at the contracts csco has lost since!) They have clearly Prevailed against AAPL _ so clearly that their second suit Vs Appl was terminated and Judge Davis Included not colorably different products into their first win. Appeals are part of the process- I am a small time guy with a few shares- but the outcome will effect my life and lifestyle ( to the up or downside) I have ALOT at stake---- guess what? ALL IN !!!!! LONG AND STRONG VHC!!!

  • VirnetX / Apple Appeal: Bad News For VirnetX And Other Patent Assertion Entities [View article]
from the iv board post 58885- and I add as well--- virnetx technology was instrumental in gaining blackberry share- without the technology that was stolen and used by apple the iphone would not be what it is today--- shame on apple and shame on you. I hope the SEC investigates your holdings and stock manipulation in this matter---- "Just how in hell are you supposed to value the VHC inventions as it relates to Apple if you don't use smallest salable unit?

The infringing features, Facetime and VPN on Demand, are not ala carte and Apple has never made them ala carte. When they kept the features on the phones but used relay servers that was not a viable work around - it degraded the service and was not same level of security.

Sure you have licenses do they really compare? You have unified communication companies, Volume discounts, MSFT limited license not including mobile/skype? Sure it's all the same patented technology but it's still different ways of using it and monetizing it.

I agree the surveys are not a great alternative since it entirely depends on how the questions are phrased for business and conusmer and government...
    For Example:
*Would you buy an iPhone if it didn't include iMessage, Facetime, or VPN on Demand?
*Would you buy and iPhone if those features were available but degraded and not secure?
*Would you equip your business with iPhones without iMessage, Facetime, or VPN on Demand?
*Would you equip your business with iPhones with iMessage, Facetime, or VPN on Demand that were degraded and not secure?
*What if there was another phone out there with those features that wasn't an iPhone - would you buy it instead?"
Pathetic stock manipulation released precisely at the exact moment to cause the most damage....very pathetic
