Please get your BS straight! Sirius has 30 trading days from the 3rd of August to come into compliance...That is about Sept 21st. From that point...If SiriusXM is still trading under a $1...will get de-listing notice...THEY WILL GET AN AUTOMATIC 180 DAYS TO COME INTO COMPLIANCE...MEL DOES NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING! So 180 days from Sept 21st is on about march 21st. Then Mel can apply for another 180 days(usually granted) to come into compliance. So, Mel has until the End of June to enact the R/S due to shareholder vote to extend deadline to June 30, 2010!!!!

I dont know what you are reading...This was not a negative article on SIRI. As far as debt goes...they have been pushing it farther off into the future. They have paid off only a very small amount if any at all! Taking profits is the name of the game. VFC could have held on too 100% of his holdings...But SIRI is due for a pullback here shortly...Maybe the dip from .77 back to .70 at close on Friday was it...I do not know...But I do know this...VFC could've back them all back later in the day at .69-.70. All the while, you sit there just wishing you had the balls to due what he did!

IMHO I think Mel has got Charlie by the balls now. Charlie will undoubtedly make some quick cash...but Mel got what he wanted, And Charlie actually helped him get there. I was thinking that if Mel paid off the Feb converts, Charlie would just buy up more of the Dec debt. Thats where Mel outsmarted him. Mel will pay off the Feb debt. Then, extend bank facilities, and finally deal with Charlie. Charlie will get paid in cash for his Dec convertibles and make about 125M, or Mel will try and work the same as the other convertibles and exchange them for senior secured where Charlie makes 10-14% on his money before the mature, or Mel can offer Charlie shares for debt. However, the price will be significantly higher, causing less dilution.

Everybody wins except the long existing shareholders who bought over $2-3. It may take them a long time to be made whole again.
