  • A Little Impatience And A Lot Of Skepticism Provides An Excellent Risk-Reward In AcelRx Pharmaceuticals [View article]
Yes its a good review. What bothers me is the fact that if the IV method has so many problems including higher cost why didn't the FDA conditionally approve it. Even if a nurse had to administer the pill manually, the efficacy should have overcome the nuisance.

How can anyone trust a market that sees one co. jump $179 with no earnings and future potential, and gilead that trounces all expectations, a tremendous pipeline and the Street is debating if this is a growth or a value company? It's both.

  • More Shakeups At Vivus: CEO Resigns [View article]
lack of insurance participation, sales of both drugs have not reached levels that say "blockbuster".

You think you could put two and two together and realize why belviq will win the war. The launch plus inevitable coverage. Never mind that phen is still the biggest weight loss drug ever. Phen plus belviq, not a sure thing but think of the headlines in terms of percent of weight reduction.

  • Opko Health: Following Tesla's Formula For A Market Take-Off [View article]
When the stock (OPK) was around $4 they constantly talked about their testing of the prostate that would eliminate many of the biopsies. Now the only head line I read is how often the CEO buys more shares. Sometimes I wonder if he is buying and selling to himself.

  • 3 Solid Machinery Stocks You Must Own [View article]
If only MTW knew how to better monetize their food service equipment. Been in the Restaurant business for long time and every time I wanted to buy equipment from them you were sent to a distributor. You have to be kidding me. Imagine the mark up made by the middleman. Don't they realize there is an internet. Why not give the restauranteur a better price and tack on 10 to 15% if delivered by a local distributor. Better service would help. An Ice machine made by them is so technologically complicated that they should send someone on site to explain how to maintain properly. No you have to call technician that could cost you $400 to $500. just to clean it. Imagine that kind of money after you spent $4500 to $5000 to purchase it only six months before.

after waiting one year for the DEA the last thing we needed was an allegory. The wait will prove profitable. What gets me is why not write an allegory about all the disinformation about Belviq.

  • Worth noting: Short interest on Walter Energy (WLT) rose 13.8% to 17.05M shares through the end of May, to 27.47% of its current float and the largest number of shares sold short in the past year. Before today's move, shares were down nearly 14% and it might be reasonable to speculate that shorts increased positions somewhat over the last two weeks. Shares are still halted, with the stock down 17.4%[View news story]
I just don't understand a management that just received our blessing in their proxy fight and then they act like amateurs. Why talk about ref. when they knew that the past two months have been unstable for credit markets. We took a 17% drubbing so they can come out and tell us we don't need the money now. Great where do I get my money back?
