  • Here's Why I'm Buying SolarCity And Selling First Solar  [View article]
It's not about efficiency in the utility scale market, it's energy per area. Read the latest FSLR presentation and you might start to understand this concept.

    ^^^ This,

and the author didn't pay attention to First Solar latest quarterly presentation...

Sell one of the only Solar companies that consistently makes money and buy the solar company that losses the most money.

Then why do insiders continue to buy a large quantity of shares on the open market? They have been doing this periodically for years.

Might be a buy here as management is buying open market shares. Can't imagine them spending $150K of their hard earned money for a stock this going to go down.

Yeah um, the recent history related to Asian solar ADRs isn't very good. JKS seems to be on firm footing but STP, YGE, Hanergy. The list goes on

You couldn't possibly be more wrong about that. Coal is being replaced by cleaner carbon solutions like NG. It has nothing to do with "renewables".

Not to mention another panel maker (YGE) about to go down in flames. First LDK, then STP, now YGE.

Can't understand why anyone would buy panels from these scam companies.

Still don't get it do you? LISTEN to the conference call and READ the reports. Most of the recent sales have been third party sales not connected to any large utility scale projects. What is your next failed argument?

  • First Solar - More Questions Than Answers  [View article]
Terrible article. The author has made selective claims without pointing out data released by the company to dispute those claims. The last quarterly report and conference call pretty much proves every one of this author's points to be incorrect.

Based on previous articles this author has good things to say about every other solar company on the planet except First Solar. Bias anyone?
