RIM Is Biggest Victim of Apple's iPhone Launch this Past Weekend [View article]
My point is a survey conducted against people waiting in line to purchase the 3GS is not a trend or by any means conclusive of the larger market. Do the survey at other carriers and track the migration from other carriers & devices as well.
Why is it you even question an Apple article on here and your crucified? Keep those rose colored glasses on.
My point is iPhone lives in a bubble of growth and right now the bulk of sales are from upgrades not new subscribers.

This is a crappy useless survey of 250 people. That is a trend?
Is someone doing a similar survey on iPhone users that move to Blackberry (as trust me there is).
I want to see the people with the EDGE model iPhone and what they do. Are they upgrading? Going to RIM / Palm?
I'd also love to see new sub rate as I'm guessing 95% of 3GS sales were upgrades. Let's see the rate after a month, 3 months as Apple always has a rush and collapse EVERY product launch. RIM keeps on selling devices regardless. Those multi carrier argeements must be doing something.
