    home health is interesting - they got hit on the budget plan., but that is funny b/c there is not a lot of waste there. Hospitals account for 30% of every health care dollar spent in the US and that is where the administration needs to focus.

    Even if home health sees lower rates., they still have sick margins and the mom and pops (its a fragmented industry) will get destroyed

    nice article. Keep an eye on Novartis - they'll likely respond to Tevas/BRL deal (which closed today) by having its Sandoz unit buy Watson. Definitely watch WPI in 2009

    PFE needs to do a deal, they are lucky they are so big, otherwise theyd be a target for exhibiting such poor use of cash. Stock @ 10 yr low, single digit PE, distressed like div yield, and $26b in cash...they have to pay out a massive div or do deals. AMGN? maybe BIIB maybe? do something!!!! The CEO has a vice grip on the cash and cash cant earn jack returns in this milieu!!!
