cool article in general, but a couple of notes:
1. change.gov provides little info on what Obama is really thinking about HCare reform. There is a wealth of data found in the Cong Budget Office eport, the Max Baucus Plan, and even in Daschle's 200 page book CRITICAL. Read those if you want to see what his people will push onto his platter
2. Obama cannot really save hospitals: self pays as % of admits may decline, but hospitals are still reeling from labor costs, ambulatory care stealing share, and apocalyptic balance sheets...even down here, I doubt hospital valuations are washed out

Obama wont go single payer - Daschle doesnt want that, either - it will likely be a hybrid plan with govt forcing all to get insured and somehow still enabling managed care companies to compete freely with each other... the other bing push will be in IT - its all Tom talks about in his book: IT and the uninsured
