Global Ecotec LLC Sustainable conservation, is there such a term? I am not sure. What I mean is buying large undeveloped wooded or unwooded parcels of land, thus removing them from residential or commercial contruction and development. I would replant unforested areas, and maintain those already forested. I am not saying I would never cut a tree down, you have to sacrafice the diseased, or thin the overcrowded. However, I am not just talking about forest management, but community management. Make the best with what you have for all living creatures. I am a specialist in herpetofauna (reptiles and amphibians) buthave also studied and published papers on small mammals and fishes. I also am an avid birder. All of theses creatures plus the ones I didn't mention: fungi, invertebrates, plants species make up communities. That what I want to conserve. One piece of property at a time.
To reach my long term goal I have many short term goals. I have investments, I start businesses, and I have a plan to use the properies as an outdoor classroom.
