Is the FCC's More Proactive Stance Cause for Cheer or Concern? [View article]
Mr. Vito, history tells us that the FCC takes sides not necessary with inovation or technological progress and definetely not for the benefit of the American people but with the big corporations ,and please wake up, both parties are tainted cocerning the FCC.. The American people are so naive to think that this corrupt institution is looking for our best interest. remember Sirius -XM blocked merger by the FCC? You don't think the FCC took sides with Clear Channel terrestial radio vs the inovative Sirius -XM satellite radio? guess who gave more money ,and bought this institution of crooks? you got it clear channel!

Cam, you are right, public resentment is on the rise simply because the government is involved in this telecomm corruption. remember global crossing ,the promise land of broadband wireless ,it is a disgrace that americans have to pay stiff prices and lousy service compared to other countries. this government officials are not looking at consumers best interests. and please don't be naive to think its a republican or democrat issue they are both corrupt parties that have betrayed the american people and our Constitution. Why you may ask? because both parties sidded with the big corporations and betrayed us. The crooks from global crossing, and the telecomm meltdown still out there,so as the crooks in the financial meltdown. who is partly responsible for the fall of Sirius-XM if not the government ,the FCC sidded with the fat cat lobbiest to protect their terrestial radio mafia ,just like they protect their VERIZONS AND AT&Ts. and PLEASE do not think this present administration is any better, they're ripping this country apart and sidding again with the big banks and corporations .
Long live Sirius XM! I read a comment that sirius xm gets people passionate ,that is understandable.Think about it, if sirius xm wasn't a threat to the future of terestrial radio ,all this lobbiest and the corrupt institution called the FCC wouldn't have spend 16 months and millions of dollars to block the merger and practically destroyed this company . wake up america we are so far behind in technology compared with Japan and europe thanks to our own corrupt institutions.Let it be, The success or failure of Sirius XM will depend on the millions of subscribers and long term investors like me .

I blame the FCC for siri situation, shame on them we as americans should be up in arms against this corrupt institution that blocked for more than a year the future of radio, The FCC is not looking for american consumers best interests, they support the corrupt lobbiest that gives more money to suppress new technologies in favor of big coglomerate institutions .But you know, nothing will change until we americans demand better service from our leaders and hold them accountable for their actions.

It is time for Americans to get all this crooks out of office ,they keep blaming wall street , but the fact is that the F.C.C. is one of the main culprits for this failing companies. i have invested in sirius like many of you and see the stock fall but i won't sell. Sirius-XM is the future of radio, unfortunately for us, we must wait for the next administration to clean house and get all this dirty politicians out of office.and by the way ,Jim Cramer two face belongs with them.isn't it great to express yourself like a real American?, you bet it is! we are so far behind in technology compared to other countries and gess whos at fault? the same politicians that betrayed us in the dot.com era. and believe me both parties are at fault! so remember, don't be fooled by the sweet talk, use your brain not your heart this Nobember.
