Well said. Unfortunately the solution that you are seeking will not be had by either McCain or Obama. As evidenced by the current bailout, the people in power are still playing the game. In my opinion it will take a total collapse of the system to bring the type of change that you are referring to. Is this the beginning? Probably not. We have not yet exausted all of our resources as a country. There are still people who are lining their pockets at the expense of the taxpayer and until that money dries up there will always be someone else in line with their hand out.

My guess is that there are some hedge funds out there that are doing very well. When the smoke clears you will see that some people have made a lot of money on this meltdown. Zero sum game...
