Started out trading stocks with not much of returns ever generated. Moved on to options trading and liked it but decided the method used to valuate them is very skewed to the brokers benefit. Am now trading almost exclusively in the futures market day trading mini s&p contracts for quick gains and quick losses. I like the futures trading more than any other because the gains and losses generated are determined entirely by my ability as a trader and not on some board of directors or a companies finances or an adverse condition in the markets or some kind of influence I have no control over and can't possibly know of until long after its effects on a stocks share value are integrated into the share value. Trading the s&p e minis is totally a chart play looking for a reversal and catching it for a couple points. Then quitting while ahead for the day to come back the next to do it again.
