    convertible bond is useless and pointless unless you plan to convert if stock price is higher than maturity price. VCVSX has 0.77% stock exposure? so VCVSX never does the bond-stock conversion? then why not alright just get bond fund? cuz VCVSX is behaving just like bond fund with 2% less dividend.
