How the Treasury Bubble Will Burst and Why

Lots of opinions listed, but most are either "doom and gloom" or "BUY gold ads"...
I see change coming in these ways: (What's your view of our near (1-5 years) future?)

1. Issuing ALL NEW dollar notes that are MUCH harder to fake or forge... This in itself will allow the Govt. to recycle it's older dollars and also ask folks (think IRS) where they suddenly "got" large amounts of dollars! Given a short time frame in which to trade in old notes for new notes, expect to see MUCH under the table $wapping. Down the road, expect to see Global or Earth dollars that are mostly electronic but not before countries clean house and take yet another devaluation hit...

2. Inflation will occur, folks with Real Estate will continue to enjoy some security but not in the traditional way (long term holdings). For those that say that nobody will be able to buy real estate in the future, expect to see long term rental or lease that solve the short term problem of no down payment money!

3. Rural land will reduce greatly in value as folks re-populate our Cities in order to find jobs, save the cost & energy of commuting and just plain reducing the costs of living. Rural land will harder to police and crime will tend to move where the police don't patrol due to budget constraints.

4. The exception to #3 above, will be US island property (think Hawaii) which will increase in value because it will become the very safest haven for Americans to live under American law, plus it can easily be policed and or insulated from Mainland US/World due to it's location.

5. Health will become THE most important issue after Energy and Food, as folks begin to take charge of their own health because public dollars refuse to fund welfare care for those that abuse both themselves & the new health system!

6. Electric generation & grid improvements will usher in the electric vehicle for inner-city use and gasoline cars will be mostly phased out as folks get paid to upgrade/buy more efficient cars made by the Govt. supported auto makers.

Ge is also a MAJOR military supplier for the USA; for that reason alone It is and will continue to get special treatment...

It seems Bush is putting the finishing touches on his good bye presents for the US & the World... Big oil/Foreign Oil is now positioned to buy up Corp. America (including GE) and Obama will have MANY MORE problems to deal with as Bush's in-action is driving the US/World into MAJOR economic collapse, BYE GEORGE!.

Consider what will happen if we begin to reduce our oil dependency, what then will happen to Big Oil? The answer is that they will have INCREASED earnings having bought all the major suppliers of energy and any other segments of America's industry that look promising for "pennies" on the dollar, having just earned record MEGA profits!

Unless Obama gets Bush to stand up and ask for joint effort now, OUR economy will continue to go downward faster and faster fueled by international foreign Oil fueled shorting.

Would Obama have the votes to nationalize the Big Oil companies for the "good" of the US?

History may note that Bush's final gift to America was another WW I (Worldwide Woes) or EWW 1 (Economic World War One) that will make it MUCH harder for Obama to change as many things as he indicated during his election speeches. Then in four years of desperate times globally, the Rep.'s will say that he did not keep his promises to the American people, the campaign to be funded by Big Oil (and it's investors) which finally controls most of the industrial might of America!

Take Stock in Costco

Costco (and being from San Diego,we shopped there when it was Price Club) is one of those stores that makes you feel great after spending over a hundred bucks,"think of how much we saved"... The future will see them expanding their number of overseas & Latin American stores; then the profits will really start to pour in. I don't own their stock now but I'm getting ready to buy as their price is getting really low.

Want proof they are fair to their customers, (see the link above for what they are doing in Hawaii to help folks there) remember they take things back when folks are not satisfied and also double warranties on major items for free....

Ban on Short Sale Ends - Hold Your Breath

Shorts are helping create this market envirnment! Many companies like GE are under attack from the GLOBAL shorts (Oil $) and as a MAJOR US Defense contractor it is just one of the most visible companies in what I am now calling the (FIRST) ECONOMIC WORLD WAR or EWW 1.

If MAJOR recovery does not really happen tomorrow (10/10/08) then that will signal the beginning of a total economic collapse of the life style we have known in the past. Global "foot draging" where nobody wants to be first to lend $.

Get ready to discover many straGEtic US companies that are getting ripe for foreign takeover UNLESS SHORT TRADING IS HALTED ASAP BY THE SEC until things return to "normal", (LIKE YESTERDAY). Imagine if Boeing was bought by Iran or China or Russia!

Our money (SEC) people are thinking of themselves instead of what is best for our country and will be labeled as $ Traitors as this man made situation continues to go down faster and faster.
