I got into trading when I was forced to handle stocks left by family death. It has been a hard, long road for me, as I never anticipated how complex and involved trying to make money is, and has only become all the more difficult in the last year(s).
I have learned much, but still make some of the same errors of playing with too many shares and not diversifying enough. The risks can make you a good amount of money, but the knife cuts both ways, and you can end up with losses. Lack of employing good exit strategy has been my downfall, but perhaps beating my stubborn head against the wall will finally make this necessity of trading sink in.
