The Pundits I Admire Are Turning Bullish

And, pray do tell, what makes you believe that the respected "pros" that have been wrong and lost trillions all the way down are now somehow going to get it right this time? Invest based on your own research and opinions, not on what others are saying/doing. I'll take your bet and I believe we will see Dow 6000 (actually even lower in my opinion) before spring 2009.

Signs of a Tradable Bottom Appear

I think since everyone seems so bullish since last week the contrarian in me believes we will be seeing new lows soon.
All the "pros" seem to believe the worst (marketwise) is over and the end of season rally has begun. Mind you, these are the same "pros" that have been losing an arm and a leg and have been buying the dips all the way down. Even Cramer is now bullish again, which leads me to believe a sharp drop is coming as all that "hope" and optimism evaporates when the next shoe drops.

For what it's worth, I think things will get much worse before they get better. Black swan indeed! i'm talking dow 5000, wars all over, hyperinflation, etc

Don't think it can happen again because we're all "special" and we "learned" the lessons of history? Guess what, that's what all the past generations thought also and they all went through major traumas because human nature is the only constant through time.

Trying to Make Sense of Cramer's Advice

His sell everything call last week was right on the money and you people can't stand it.
If you actually read through the two clippings posted above, he says he's negative BEFORE there was a european plan on the table last night and it seemed like Morgan would go under. That's the 4700 target. Today he said basically don't fight the tape, although if you read all his comments he's not that impressed with today's rally.

To me it's a classic suckers rally and I'll short into it. No volume, just retail and short covering.
