  • What Unemployment Numbers Can We Expect? [View article]
The 'average work week' is down to it's lowest level ever at 33 hours. I know from experience that many people just give up looking for work and couldn't therefore be counted in any unemployment numbers. I wouldn't be surprised to find an accurate unemployment count to be closer to 20% than 10%. Who are we kidding!?

  • Panic-Crash Sentiment Causing Market Volatility [View article]
...I agree! I DON'T see any other way forward than to vaporize the derivatives globally and start over. If anyone has a better understanding of it, we'd all appreciate hearing it! 'Invest-in-a-farm' about said it though I'm not sure WHAT will move Paulson & Co out from their 'deer in the headlights' stance...I really think they have their collective eye on the Exit and are just waiting out the clock till the new administration comes in. As bright as Obama is, I sincerely don't think they have a clear conceptual clue of what's currently underway. Let's hope we don't all choke on the 'settling dust'...
