Stocks are like fishing. The lake provides the opportunity to gamble and catch a winning fish and collect the prize money. The fish are educated guesses determined by what the fish eats and how well it grows vs. how many people are fishing. You cant catch a winner without a line in the water but you can also be out all day and still come home defeated. Side note, Like fishing, Trading is best done intoxicated. (personal opinion)
