We will not be stuck with Hussein for much longer!! Hillary will not wage a war on coal. And Hillary doesn't strut when she walks either!

  • Walter Energy (WLT) +6.5% premarket after reporting a strong start to the year thanks to higher prices for coal used in steelmaking and rising production. A Brean Capital analyst says that while the performance was not surprising, many investors had feared the worst. Coal names are trading higher: JRCC +4.3%, ANR +2.4%, ACI +1.8%, BTU +1.5%, CLF +1.1%[View news story]
Will PCX ever give us a clue what is going to happen with our shares? Just a total loss? What will become of the PCXCQ shares, will they continue trading for pennies indefinitely?

  • Romney Scares Coal Shorts (Video) [View article]
Hispanic vote for Obama@80%, African American vote for Obama @99%! Ronald Reagan wouldn't be able to overcome that, much less Mitt Romney!

  • Slowing Chinese growth is hitting the U.S.'s Appalachian coal mines and towns hard, with the slumping steel industry in China needing far less of Appalachia's high-grade metallurgical coal. The result is that a ton of thermal coal sells for $52 vs. $65-$75 to produce it. The affected companies include Patriot Coal (PCXCQ.PK), which filed for Chapter 11 in July, Alpha Natural Resources (ANR), Consol (CNX) and Arch Coal (ACI). [View news story]

  • Coal names continue to climb higher in premarket trading, adding to yesterday's big gains: JRCC +5.1%, ACI +4.2%, ANR +4%, YZC +3%, WLT +2.9%, BTU +1.4%[View news story]
I am long JRCC and ACI also. What will happen to the shares I own in Patriot Coal?

  • Coal shares are on a roll - JRCC +11.4%, ANR +7.2%, ACI +6.9%, WLT +4.9%, BTU +3.8% - but Paul Ausick reminds of the sector's long-running ailments: ANR is saddled with debt and its met coal business amounts to only 20%-25% of its shipments; JRCC’s met coal business is weak, and thermal coal prices aren’t rising very fast; ACI’s assets in Appalachia have been a drag. [View news story]
Romney would be the greatest thing that could ever happen to coal investors. Unfortunately, our country has WAY to many sheep drinking the Obama Koolaid!

  • The Mitt Romney Factor In 2 Specific Sectors [View article]
It is impossible for Romney to get elected. Very simple, African Americans will vote 99% for Obama and the Hispanic vote will be somewhere between 75% to 83% for Obama. And there will be a large turnout in both communities. I own coal stocks and would love to see a Romney rally, but the numbers are insurmountable. And no, this is not a racist statement, just realistic.
