Sirius Investors Need to Summon Up More Patience... Again [View article]
Brandon,
Both you and I were attacked yesterday by mrcody65 on the Yahoo! board. All we did was state the obvious. Yes from a business perspective it may make sense, but at the same time how many times has this company not made sense. The fake news release did not kill the momentum yesterday. Somebody knew what was coming down the pike. We could of hit $1.00 in the next 2 to 3 weeks. This is typical SiriusXM business practice. Just as the stock starts rebounding, they kill it. This leads me to believe that insiders have an agenda that doesn't include the common shareholders like us. Please do not use the excuse that Mel is a shareholder. Mel gets lots of options and makes millions on top of the millions he already has. Their timing is suspicious once again.

Brandon, I must admit, being a long I have not always been a fan of yours. However, today you have written exactly what I was thinking. There was a lot of static about Apple, but no news. Rumors of buyout which were unsubstantiated. The only thing was positive sentiment of market, the uptick rule, and accounting changes that may take place in regards to mark to market. Last year the timing of the merger, the credit marketand market in general crash, and the scrambling for restructure of debt left Sirius on the precipice. These changes in SEC rules and accounting rules have now put SiriusXM in a different position, the launch pad. Thanks for a good read.

Rothblatt is a doctor, inventor, he/she, and has been highly successful with inventing (innovation), with that said, this does not make one a successful in business. Look at many of our inventors that died broke. Anybody ever hear of Tesla? By far the smartest man ever born with the exception of Jesus, this man died broke. Don't let the guy who had his raisins cut off worry you. Ans don't let these anal yst put fear into you. They are only poking into the dark trying to find direction.

I noticed you failed to mention that Sirius XM wants to oncrease shares after the rs. How appropriate that they want to negate naked short sells by decreasing shares, but in the same breath they want to increase shares. They want their cake and eat it too. Just face it, the management created this mess and now they want to screw the "unsophisticated investor". If you remember, Mel allowed those shares to be shorted and look what happened. As a leader, Mel should have been prepared for XM debt. Sirius could have done quite well by itself, rather than being sucked into a bk bound XM. He had plenty of opportunity over the year to pull out rather than extend the time to merge. He looked at what they owed in debt and when it was due. He knew, but he does not care because we little guys will get screwed and he will make back all of his losses and a heck of alot more.

Sirius has plenty of time to do a rs, why now, why the obvious rush. Mel's excuse now is the economic conditions, where was he the previous 4 to 5 years. He is a self serving pos.

Sue. I have never sued anybody in my life. I have been a stockholder for many years. Disgruntled with management, yes, but I haven't sued or joined a lawsuit.

Missing the forest for the trees. Even if total auto sales are off an average of 40%, that still leaves a lot of cars with satellite radio. The good thing is that those people that are buying can afford it. The deals that are being lost contain a lot of margin credit consumers that can barely afford a payment let alone satellite.

They probably didn't respond to you because you are currently trying to sue them. Their legal advisors probably told them to steer clear of you. Just my opinion.

My electric company charges a $10 per month service charge per month on top of my electric bill.
My water company has a minimum usuage fee regardless if I use no water at all.
My garbage company charges a fuel surcharge.
My cable and mobile phone companies charge surcharges.
$2 is nothing if you like the service, but spread out over millions is a windfall for SiriusXM.
