Mr. Harari of SanDisk must be an idiot of the highest order. He has done a great disservice to his company's share holders. I have not seen this company making any money in the past few quarters. I am surprised that he had guts to turn down a generous offer from Samsung. In the current market conditions it is extremely difficult for a company to survive without consolidation, even if it is good one, let alone SanDisk. He must have thought that he would lose his job if his company was acquired by Samsung. What he doesn't know is that he is going to lose it anyway--SanDisk will go belly up in the current financial crisis.

Apparently, people at Citi do not know how to draw a contract! The best opportunity they had to prosper disappeared with Wachovia. Citi is drawing closer to bankruptcy. Mr. Pandit has no clue what is happening. He has a bloated company with over 300,000 employess. Their annual salary alone anmounts to $20B. The banks income does not even match this. If I were the CEO I would have cut the staff by 100,000 by now. Since Mr. Pandit did not do it, all 300,000 employees are going to lose their jobs. I have considerable amount of my retirement money tied up in Citi stock and hate see incompetant people running the company to ground.
