  • Mexico Could Be The New China [View article]
Yeah...that is true. Over the last 2 years, maybe 3, Washington State has had a deficit in terms labor shortage in the agriculture field: harvesting crops. It's been on the news and I can't recall any direct effect of the crops with labor shortage.

I do recall that apple producers were hiring thai workers, imported, to harvest because the then administration was tightening up border-crossings.

    Anyone notice KOF stock price?
I'm wondering if Coca-Cola HBC S.A (CCH) can replicate a similar value.
I believe KOF is responsible for those glass coke bottles you see at taco stands and grocery stores. Am I right?

    That's good to know J.

Also, two of Adelson's grandchildren, I believe, have a total of ~6% (3% to each one) of shares in a trust account. Or it may be 6% to each one. I was on lvs' Web-site over the summer and read the current investor report. Are REIT investments good for IRAs?

MGM is about to open its new casino resort near Ho Chi Minh city by the ocean in the early '13. From what I read, LVS opted out because the Vietnamese gov. wouldn't allow its nationals to patrons for the casino.

The gov. is going to be spending big bucks on the '16 Olympics for infrastructure. I'd wait to see from whom they'd would buy steel from before buying GGB. It's cheap right now.

Man...did I miss their 1 year run. I didn't even know this company was public. I was thinking of investing in Shufflemaster because they're more global but this company is just as good. And not as expensive as bally gaming. I'm not interested in IGT, just read yahoo's message boards.

I live in WA. State and I've seen their products in at least 2 american indian casinos. There are several american indian casinos in this state. I've seen their Roman Glory at Snoqualmie casino. And at Yakama Legends casino. At Legends I've seen roman glory, safari, saim, and wild a go-go games. The Wild a go-go is really popular and is still fairly new at the casino. AT legends the games are in the class II section and seem to be taking away market share of IGT's class II games because they are disappearing and being replaced by mgam. Bally and Rocket are the other class II players and carry the bigger progressive pooled jackpots.

Hard choice to pick between shuffle and this company. There's other casinos in the Seattle region and are North and South of Snoqualmie and are Indian run but I don't know what slot games they have.

  • Emerald Oil Could Replicate Kodiak's Success In The Bakken [View article]
"September 25 Emerald Oil (EOX) -7.3% premarket after announcing a public offering of 93.75M shares of its common stock to the public at $0.80/share. Comment! [Energy, On the Move]"

Yes, why would a company issues shares and do a reverse 1:7 on oct. 22 2012?

Is Whiting Petroleum Corporation a player in this? And which railroad company is going to be transporting the liquid oil? Is there an oil refinery within the vicinity? Or is each company going to transport their oil via pipeline? And are these all of the players in the oil extracting business in North Dakota? I've read it's now the 2nd largest oil boom behind Texas.
