Jerrold you get my point. Siri is now an app on iphone. SIRI is just a bunch of programs in one location. It lacks originality and independent choices. All tired old acts. But you got the point. It is already an iphone app. Take your iphone any where and go to any app. Listners won't have to go SIRI soon for something, they will have a greater choice thru apps, including new and original independent entertainment. With SIRI it's the old tried and true. Boring. Yes some will still be loyal listner's. But the advantage is to those who have an app and it hits big.Their will be new personalities and music that comes along and some of those apps will make it big. You got the point. SIRI has to use the iphone app to try and stay in the game. And so the app world grows and only some of SIRI programs will stay strong. But my beef is that Mel and Co are not up to the programing task to keep up with new age that is coming. Another example will be apps by musicians, comedians, news etc. that are basically free to the listner because they want to sell their music, dvd's, video's, books, and what ever. The apps are free because they are promotional sales tools. So say if Madonna wanted to have a Madonna app to play all Madonna she could do it for free, very little cost, and she could use it to sell cd's, her concerts, video archives , photography, movies and what ever. Just like SIRI is doing now. They give the app away free so people will sign up for the program line up. I fully understand it's like cable tv only audio. I'm only saying Mel and co are the problem. If they had done something that really had made it a must years ago then it would have been ahead of the game. Now they are still playing catch up. The problem is the technology is moving on and SIRI is late to the party. It's all going apps and digital. The money is spent by young people and they are in another place generational wise. I understand you want SIRI to win and take off, but people are looking beyond sat rad now. It's not where the future is. It's going to be old technology soon. Young people will want their entertainment directly from the app sources thru cell phones.
