REGIS grew mainly by acquiring existing chains, there are few left to be acquired. Organic growth has and is not REGIS'S strength, mater effect it can not even retain the quality and sales levels of it's acquisitions.

True REGIS has only a little better than 2% of the available market but the rest are individually owned stores that would be difficult if not impossible for REGIS to purchase and integrate.

The company is in need of a new model and with it's present management that is not in the cards.
