  • Cree: A Growth Stock in a Booming Segment  [View article]
Nice article but a few questions - What are the market entry barriers for CREE? What keeps other larger competitors from going directly to Chinese manufactures? Is CREE just a glorified distributor?

  • Philip Morris International and Altria: Compare and Contrast [View article]
I am glad to hear that I am not alone in staying with MO and PM. This is a great article and makes me feel more comfortable. FCHARLIE's comment was also very helpful. Hopefully, one day, our pain will be rewarded.

  • Kinder Morgan's Dividend Payout Rate Is Unsustainable  [View article]
Although most of the comments seem to take you to task for this analysis, most of the objections appear to question your application to KLM. Thanks for the general concepts of the article. I found it very helpful.

Based on your article, your 'sell' rating on MO is confusing. Obviously MO has successfully navigated the huge tax increases. People are still smoking, chewing and drinking. As the recession eases, I expect even more consumption. MO has always been able to mange its legal issues. Based on this earnings statement and the current dividend rate, the stock is not going back to the $13.50 level.

Frank, good article but I have one quandry. Are you recommending the EPP index (Asia ex-Japan)? This index's major holdings seem to be heavily weighted toward Australia – appears to be counter to your thesis.
