SEC Chairman Cox's Conflicted Testimony

The last time I talked with an SEC spokesperson (5 weeks ago), he insisted that the Road Map was not dead, it was just taking a while to work through all the details.

Accounting professors have been strong, vocal opponents of the switch to IFRS (see my blog for reviews of the various professor arguments). There is some hope that the next Prez will appoint Charles Niemeier to head the SEC. I wish I know how to approach the next president-elect to make this suggestion.
