America Needs an Independent Clearinghouse for OTC, CDS

I have been an advocate, both in print and TV, for the opening of "dark pool" OTC markets to the transparent commodity exchanges. Paul and Jeff hit the nail on the head in pushing the CME group as the best qualified because of their deepest pool of liquidity, strongest clearing history and fewest conflicts of interest.
