there will be many funds that end up closing over the next couple years because of the the events of the past year. eventually this shakout will be healthy for the industry and hopefully positive for investor returns as well but that scenario is a ways off. in the meantime most hedge funds will be under redemption pressure as investors are less concerned about performance and more interested in liquidity, preservation of capital and transparency.
