Memo to Warren: AmEx Preferred at 15%, Warrants at $12

American Express has a terrific brand that will be a huge asset when the recession ends. Thus they will be one of the better performers in the financial sector when the market recovers. As for timing an entry, no one knows where the bottom is. I prefer to buy weakness and buy small over a period of many weeks thus hopefully achieving an average price close to the lows. This has worked well for me in other down cycles.
