Li-ion Battery Manufacturers: The Bleeding Edge of Energy Storage Technology [View article]
OK, your points are well taken; I appreciate your response and it is true that you stimulated me to do a little more thinking and reading although I could not even begin to do the research you have done on this subject.

You mentioned that ABAT had good numbers, but the point is that ABAT is Li ion manufacturer and the article downgrades Li ion manufacturers. Is there anyone else out there who expends so much time and effort to degrade one industry? You over do it. Gee, I don't suppose it has anything to do with your large stake in axpw.ob. You weren't compensated for your work on axion with their stock, were you? It is difficult for me to believe you are not biased in your analysis.
You can speculate on Pb C, a money losing business and I'll speculate on Li ion which in ABAT's case is doing quite well. I'm also willing to believe in the combined wisdom of all the car manufactures who are putting their faith in Li ion. I sense there may easily be large profits for Li ion in supplying the hev, phev and ev markets before and if factors of Li price and supply have an effect.

Damn, you are one tedious person. You call yourself an optimist, but bash the future of LI ion, while supporting the old technology of Pb acid. You caution people about investing in 'bleeding edge' companies, yet you have a large holding in Axion, a money losing company.
As an investor in ABAT I am tired of seeing articles about ABAT listed on Yahoo from Seeking Alpha, because I know that it is just another article by you.
Spare the world of your weekly rants. They don't help me or anybody.
Nine Energy Storage Stocks for the Recession [View article]
It seems as though you are committed to promoting lead acid batteries, while minimizing Lithium ion batteries. With the entire auto world looking at hybrids and plug in electric cars, you are going against the flow. Lithium ion can also be used in backup systems and in conjunction with solar power. I am not sure about the timing on Li stocks, but that's where I am going. Time will tell which stocks do better.
