Detroit's Hail Mary: Saving the Automakers

Rather than buy inferior UAW built autos or bail them out with tax dollars, why don't we just send our savings directly to the DNC, Accorn and/or Michelle and Barack? My next purchase will be an auto built in America by highly dedicated and compensated American workers: a Honda Civic.
