    • The Bear Necessities: Law of the Jungle Rules [view article]
J4 - The fed needed to act to save Bear's counterparties and those who use Bear as a broker. With the exposure Bear has to the mortgage industry if the Fed were to simply allow Bear to fail we would see a domino effect unseen in the financial markets.

Purl Gurl your post reeks of ignorance.

I am a fan of JNJ (Disclosure I own JNJ).

Look at the cash flow this company generates. The patent issues are certainly going to have an impact short term but in the long term this a terrific company that will continue to make money for shareholders.

    • Why Is American Oriental Bioengineering Resissuing Shares, Now? [view article]
I looked at AOBO back in June and decided to pass them up after AOBO filed an S3 on 6/13 stating they were planning a second offering of 15 million shares. With that announcement it was also announced that CEO Tony Liu would be selling 2 million of his personal shares.

It seems like they have sinced ammended the S3 but the outlook for the company has not changed.

AOBO is operating in a very competitive marketplace and I do not believe they have the competitive advantage to set them apart in China.
