    Swiss Franc may historically be a safe haven but it's certainly not one right now. safe haven currencies shouldn't lose 10% value in a single day and it has a negative floor against the Euro.

    "The first is that of inflationary weakness" Okay but which currencies aren't susceptible just as much or more than the dollar for inflation? The Swiss held it's strength but had to be artificially weakened to keep up with exports

    From what I understand the trend is going to be held if retail traders continue to add liquidity trying hard to pick a bottom to the EU. It looks like Oanda is already net short the pair, if other large brokers follow suite this will be a strong sign of a bottom/reversal.

    The falling dollar has been disguised by the similar timed fall of the Euro in value. It's still a race to the bottom in value as safe haven currencies such as the Franc have to be artificially held back from appreciation.
